Assignment at York University

This technical report was written for an assignment at York University in a course called Effective Engineering Communication. In this course, we studied and practiced professional communication in many settings pertaining to engineering.

The topic of the technical report was to argue how a certain new technology might help solve one of the Engineering Grand Challenges. The challenge I chose to address was Securing Cyberspace.

After conducting research through academic papers, company reports, and articles, I decided that machine learning is a promising technology for solving this Engineering Grand Challenge, and this was the argument of my report.

Use of LaTeX

I used LaTeX to write the technical report. This way, I could organize all the sections into separate tex files, and I could let the LaTeX compiler handle complicated parts like making the table of contents and bibliography. I also just like the way LaTeX documents look, and I felt comfortable in the coding environment.
